A quiz for an 8 year old, made from a picture book page
Last updated October 5, 2026 · Video published October 5, 2026 · 0:34
This is the first of three short videos that each pick study material that fits one age and run it through SwipeSmrt. Here it's age 8, with two pages from a picture book about a bean that sprouts.
What happens in the video
- Photograph the two pages.
- Tap the i button and drag the Age slider to 8.
- Add the photos and tap Generate Quiz.
- Answer the first question and read the short explanation.
The first question that came out was "Why does a growing bean turn green?" One clear idea, simple words, and three options that a second grader can actually tell apart.
For this age, reading a page and answering a couple of questions about it is a big part of how reading comprehension gets built. There are ideas for doing that at home in reading comprehension questions at home. If you have an older kid too, see the same idea at age 12.
