Retry only the questions you missed
Last updated October 4, 2026 · Video published October 4, 2026 · 0:59
Going through a whole quiz again to practice the two questions you got wrong is a waste of time. When a SwipeSmrt quiz is done, there's now a button that starts a new round with only the ones you missed.
What happens in the video
- Make a quiz from two pages, here from a 1907 children's book about the stars and the moon.
- Answer it, getting two of the six questions wrong.
- On the results, the two misses are at the top, with the answer given and the correct one.
- Tap Retry the 2 I missed. A new round starts with only those two, and the answer options are in a new order.
- Get both right and the results say All correct.
If one is still wrong in the retry round, it comes back in the next one. You keep going until everything is right. You can also tap any question on the results to read its explanation again.
Why shuffle the options
Without shuffling, a kid can just remember that the answer was the third button. Moving the options around means they have to actually recall the answer, which is the part that makes it stick. More on that in how active recall helps memory and why quick feedback beats a graded test.
What's said in the video
Got a few wrong? Practice just those.
Two pages about the moon. Generate the quiz, and take it like normal. Say two answers go wrong.
On the results, the misses come first, with your answer and the right one.
Now tap Retry the two I missed.
You only get those two. The options are shuffled, so you have to know it, not remember where it was.
All correct. Miss one again, and it comes back in the next round.
Swipe Smart. Practice what you got wrong.
